ACUTE ST-SEGMENT ELEVATION MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION IN A YOUNG PATIENT WITH IGA NEPHROPATHY: A RARE CASE REPORT


 Cardiovascular events are less commonly described in glomerular disease. However, thromboembolic quite reported disease with nephrotic range proteinuria. Here, we report a case of 29 years old male IgA nephropathy present central chest pain radiating to the jaw. He was under mycophenolate, prednisolone and losartan remission proteinuria for two months. ECG showed extensive ST segment elevation V1- V6 leads. His cardiac troponins were elevated. Coronary angiography complete thrombotic occlusion mid left anterior descending artery which successfully recanalized after primary percutaneous intervention. Though literature, such incidence coronary can rarely acute myocardial infarction.
